I don’t know what the reason is behind this confusing Indian politics. I want to list some of the reasons for my confusing state. I shall give you the reasons one by one here. If you have definitions or answers for these doubts of me. Please reply to me.
Today I am confused with the fundamental rights of India. India's politicians make these fundamental rights of India as a thing, not for the common man to follow. If we follow and do such things as per in the constitution they are treated as a punishable offense. Let me remind you of the rights once again.
1. Right to equality
2. Right to freedom
3. Right against exploitation
4. Right to Religion
5. Cultural and Educational Rights
6. Right to constitutional remedies
Hope everyone remembers these. because this is one of two mark questions back in our school days. we have memorized it just for those two marks but we didn't make a question to ourselves whether our society is enjoying these rights or not. but this is not the end. we have plenty of time remaining to think about this and make these rights not just paperwork. Here, I am going to establish some details of these rights in-depth and the current positions of these rights.
RIGHT TO EQUALITY:
This is the first fundamental right which says that people of this nation are all equal under the law. Article 15 of the constitution states that no citizen of India shall be discriminated on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex, or place of birth.
Abolition of untouchability is the motto of this Right but till now in many parts of India, Untouchability is not abolished. Some people may tell there is no more term like untouchability in India. But in many parts of India Dalits are still not at all allowed to enter inside the temple. But this Right highlights that every citizen has a right to go to a public place. Even our current President of our nation itself was not allowed inside Puri Jaganath temple because of his caste. As he was the president his life was saved. Otherwise, this would have become another scenario similar to what happened in Uttar Pradesh, where a small kid was assaulted for entering into the Hindu temple. The rights are in the constitution but not to a common man.
RIGHT TO FREEDOM:
As per the constitution, there are six types of freedom given for every citizen of this nation. The types of freedom are as follows: people can speak and express their thoughts, people to assemble peacefully without arms, people to form associations or unions, people can go any part of this country, people can reside any part of this country and people can practice any legal profession anywhere.
But these laws have some restrictions also. These restrictions are used by the government and suppress the people by not giving the Right to their freedom. Freedom of expression is not all given to the media person itself sometimes. Some People alone can enjoy this freedom when they are approving each and everything said by the government. When the government doing mischiefs, no one is permitted to ask why. If we ask politely also the government will tune that protest into a riot. There are more examples of this kind of happenings such as Jallikattu protest, Sterlite Factory protest. Freedom to go any part of the country is not for women in this nation which they going out of their house. They will be harassed irrespective of their age. Because Freedom is not right. It is just like a commodity to sell with a huge price tag. The common man is not able to bear the price most of the time.
RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF RELIGION:
This Right is given to people to make this country to follow Secularism. The government should not give preference to none of the religions. People can practice any religion according to his wish. But the mentality of most people of now is changing Religion regarded as a Sin.
The people who changing the mind of the people to change religion are treated as culprits. I am not all convinced by this act of changing of religion by the external forces. But on the other hand, focusing on the reason behind the changing of religion by the poor people is due to fulfill the basic needs of them alone. The person who and all feel that the poor people of religion are changed to other religions by means of money was a stupid act. I have a huge question for them. If you people having great faith with your religion and objecting the person's from your religion should not be converted into either religion by money. Why you people are not helping the poor people of your own religion. Religion is just used as a medium for doing politics alone. Religion is just used to do politics and take the life of innocent people by the name of God. The person doing this act alone is great stupid. The person who preaching religious thoughts are just doing corporate business alone or they are doing for the self well being. In this country, huge Riots are done in the name of God only. Such riots are not started after Independence. Before Independence itself, this kind of riot is started. The important riots are the Ramnad riot in 1957, the Gujarat riot in 1969, Nellie Massacre in 1983, the Anti-Sikh riot in 1984, the Babri Masjid incident in 1992, the Gujarat riot in 2002, Kandhamal Violence in 2008.
The law book of India was written by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He also converted his religion and joined Buddhist to escape from the stupid ideology maintained in his Religion. Still, most of the Religious thoughts are not preaching equality and discriminating against people. So, people can choose their religion by their own desire none of the individuals is allowed to interfere in their personal matter. But currently, the Government of the nation is forgetting secularism and imposing some things which can collapse the Rights of people.
