I don’t know what is the reason behind this confusing Indian politics. I want to list some of the reasons for my confusing state. I will tell the reasons one by one here. If you have definitions or answers for these doubts of me. Please reply to me.
Today I have confused with National Educational Policy-2020. First of all, I want a change in the current education system but the change should be good in all aspects because this change is too late for this nation. Before getting into the confusing part I am glad about some aspects such as schooling from age 3 and interdisciplinary schooling new pedagogical structure, semester exam for schools to reduce burden. These are the schemes seem fancier and making this policy having good things but implementation level and infrastructural level problems to make these possibles.
For schooling from 3 is good because the Indian children within age 5 lack nutrition and this will make the way for the rural students get the offer of the mid-day meal scheme from the schools and give minimum nutrition to kids but the Anganwadi budget have to increase and number employees and have to be increased. But for bringing that much small kids the number of rural schools has to be increased. In this policy, there is another clause that explains that the schools with the minimum students will be demolished due to the overcome administrative lapses. such that every good thing that can be specified in this policy are degraded by other terms of the policy itself.
There are some other bad things which will make the situation worse than ever. First of all starting from the common exams for the third standard students. For showcasing it is a very good scheme, the government says that the exams will not be like board and using RTE (Right To Education) none will be failed up to 8th standard. These are the arguments of the government side. But as per the statistics of 2018, over 10,000 students got suicide in that year due to the "Failure in Exams". The exam results always make the students at any age to get stressed and failure in exams will make them feel depressed and inferiority complex can be developed. All students in a group will not be in the same sociological background. So this cannot be a good move for conducting exams.
The importance of Sanskirt seems like the RSS manifesto. Sanskrit is a language where just only less than 1% of people alone using it as per the 2011 census (precisely less than 25,000 peoples in India). The government giving it a tag line as a classical language with cultural value. But when we are getting into the reality the Sanskrit language having the things mostly with the Hindu religious belief only. other than some works were in the field of astronomy and science. But it also covers the religion believes for the most part. The important scientific works were already have been translated into many languages. Then we may get a doubt why the government giving such importance to this language over other languages with more cultural values. This is to spread Hinduvata ideology to the people. The RSS leader M.S.GOLWALKAR said India have to adopt a ONE NATION ONE RELIGION like policy and non-Hindus have to adopt Hinduism. According to the RSS thoughts, the Sanskrit is the language of Hinduism.
There are many other flaws like vocational training which will bring back the varna system to the society which is demolished after many years of struggles by the peoples and leaders. The mother tongue education up to 5th standard as an option is being portrayed as a big record by the government and BJP politicians. But in Tamil Nadu up to the 12th standard itself, that option is available but the parent's mentality of comparing the English is a better medium of instruction has forced the government to change and develop more English medium schools. So this statement of the policy is not making any impact in TN.
There are some other schemes like a common board exam for joining Arts and Science. This will make economically downtrodden people will affect directly just like a scenario happening for NEET and JEE. The private coaching centers will alone increase and making higher education more difficult for a common man.
Many other things also depend on how they are actually in ground-level effect such as giving autonomous and regulating standards of the college. these are some of the things that make a good move and there is a way for more privatization also. Coming together with all the points of the policy the government says HOLISTIC development or progress will be carried over every individual and making the fund of Education ministry as 6% GDP of the nation seems like a very good move. If the government making the infrastructure to this standard in government schools before implementing it. The scheme can avoid Privatisation in the education system. Because the government is referring to the policy is a world standard. I want to refer that India is having 65% percent of government schools with not having sufficient seats but America having over 80% percentage of government schools where the states of it having stakes over most of the schools. This is the reason why world standard education is provided in many countries. so the government should not give any way of chance for increasing private schools.
At last, change of this education system have to be done is mandatory but it should not make a way for Hindi imposition, privatization. The standard has to be increased without screwing the downtrodden students.
